Parcel and invoice management service (SML)
SML service version 2.0 is an extension of SML version 1.0 for automatic and manual processing/declaration of unregistered shipments. SML 2.0 allows you to describe the parcel instead of the user (after the expiration of the period for self-declaration - 24 hours) and ensure its further shipment to Ukraine.
It works using Artificial Intelligence and with Google Lens to automate content description.
The goal of SML 2.0 is to ensure that NP Shopping parcels continue to move even when users have not completed their own parcel checkout.
Connected countries (via SML 2.0):
- United Kingdom
- Poland
Scaling the service to other NP Shopping countries:
- Germany
- Spain
- Italy
- France
- Czech Republic

Handling of unregistered shipments
Unregistered shipments with an active registration period
Unregistered shipments that have not yet expired the self-registration period (24 hours) are displayed in SML. The warehouse employee moves these items to the "Unclaimed items storage area".
- During the next scan, the shipment may switch to the Registered status and follow the standard process.
- In this case, you need to affix the information label and follow the other Cargos steps.
- Parcels in the storage area should be scanned twice a day to quickly detect registered shipments.
Unregistered parcels with expired registration
Parcels that have expired their self-registration period are subject to manual declaration. A warehouse employee moves them to the manual processing area.
The process works in the following manner:
- The parcel is opened.
- The employee makes a description via the label management service according to the instructions Without printed invoice.
- The employee generates data for manual declaration based on the invoice. The invoice must meet the requirements. General.
